TL;DR — Your Data Stays With You

We collect nothing. Everything is stored locally in your browser.

Timetable Creator is a fully client-side application. All timetable data, settings, and preferences are stored exclusively in your browser's LocalStorage. No data is transmitted to any server — we don't have a backend database for user data.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). Specifically:

  • We do not require account registration or login.
  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or contact details.
  • We do not track your usage behaviour or analytics.
  • All timetable content you create is stored only in your browser.

2. LocalStorage

This application uses the browser's LocalStorage API to persist your timetable data, settings, and theme preference between sessions. This data is stored locally on your device and never leaves your browser unless you explicitly use the Share via URL feature.

You can clear this data at any time by:

  • Using the Clear All button within the app.
  • Clearing your browser's site data / LocalStorage for this domain.

3. Share via URL Feature

When you use the Share Timetable feature, your timetable data is encoded (base64) and embedded directly in the URL. This URL is generated locally in your browser. No data is sent to our servers during this process.

When you share this URL with others, the encoded data becomes part of the URL string they receive. Only share URLs with people you trust.

4. Third-Party Libraries

This application loads the following resources from third-party CDNs:

  • Tailwind CSS (cdn.tailwindcss.com) — Styling framework
  • Font Awesome (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — Icons
  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) — Inter typeface
  • html2canvas (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — Export screenshots
  • jsPDF (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — PDF generation

These CDN requests may be subject to their respective providers' privacy policies. Your IP address may be logged by CDN providers as part of normal server request logging.

5. Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. LocalStorage is used instead of cookies for persisting application state.

6. Children's Privacy

Our service is designed for educational use and is suitable for all ages. Since we collect no personal information whatsoever, there are no special considerations for children's data under COPPA or similar regulations.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
